What does participation involve? |
|
All people who volunteer for ADNI will be asked to have an MRI scan
every six to twelve months and will also be asked to consider having
two lumbar punctures to collect cerebral spinal fluid for biomarker
studies.
Most research sites are also asking participants to agree to having a
PET scan at these same time points, and many sites may ask participants
to have an additional MRI at these time points instead of a PET
scan. These are optional to the participant and will depend on
the research site in your area.
