Proposed Analysis: | My doctoral research is centred around improving the interpretability and constrainability of pseudotime models for cross-sectional data analysis. We have recently developed a method to constrain pseudotemporal biomarker trajectories to be monotonic. As we know that in general brain volumes will decrease over the course of dementia-related diseases, we are hopeful that our model will provide a more faithful trajectory representation than many current methods which do not place a priori behaviour constraints on biomarker trajectories. Accessing the data would allow us to demonstrate the utility of our work and further highlight the importance of the ADNI datasets. |
