Proposed Analysis: | I am kind;y requesting a dataset for my research work, please refer to my research abstract. The most prevalent form of dementia is Alzheimer's, a generic term for lack of memory and other cognitive abilities that are significant enough to interfere with everyday life. 60% - 80% of dementia cases are due to Alzheimer's disease (AD) and the disease will potentially lead to the mortality of patients. The cause of AD is still unclear to date, and no successful therapies or procedures have been reported to prevent or reverse the progression of AD. Early identification of AD is important in order to enable treatment strategies to delay AD growth. The most clinically used and promising approaches are structural magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to identify brain abnormalities in people who may be at risk for AD but who have not yet experienced symptoms. The aim of this chapter is to develop a GUI enable system to identify dementia patients with Alzheimer's disease using a Machine learning (ML) methodology. We have used four types of MRI image classes to identify AD with mild, very mild and moderate demented patients. |
