Proposed Analysis: | There is a need for biomarkers that could be used to identify the biological process prior to beta-amyloid accumulation despite the advancements made in the use of amyloid-based biomarkers for the early detection of Alzheimer's disease. This is due to the amyloid-based biomarker’s inability to identify at-risk individuals prior to significant beta-amyloid deposition in the brain and the limited amount of information about the pathological cause and pathway of the disease it has to offer. When trained using the proteomic data obtained from the Alzheimer’s disease neuroimaging initiative (ADNI), machine learning based techniques have shown promising results. The aim of our research is to identify statistically significant non-amyloid proteins that might be feasible for early detection of AD with the help of comparative analysis and to develop a machine learning model for early disease detection. |
