Proposed Analysis: | We propose to predict the progression of white matter hyperintensities (WMH) using ADNI3 data based on volumetric markers from MRI scans (FLAIR and MIRAGE) and patient characteristics (age, sex, blood pressure). The prediction will determine whether the WMH volume will grow, remain stable or reduce at a region/lobe/overall. The aim of the project is to 1) support patient stratification with regards to WMH, 2) gain understanding in the underlying pathology of WMH and contribute to the creation of new hypotheses for treatment |
